But note that the uniform of the Sailors of the Guard illustrated in these plates was introduced toward the end of 1811; beford that date the uniforme Wars just the same worn by the Sailors of the french Imperial Guard,but in green instead of blue, and with white cords for ranks and silver mixed red for ncos
